When I bought mine 2 years ago I planned to use it as a learning tool for a year and step up to an FZ1. Well, having covered tousands of joyous miles on the steed, I now see that I will never part with him. Instead I plan to expand my garage with something more focused for those VERY spirited rides (no that the Faz can't handle it 
I am taking him to the ring in 6 weeks and can't wait to see how he handles 3000 miles and getting chucked round the green hell, all in the space of 10 days. There are not many 13 year old bikes I would even consider doing this with.
