well chaps after 8 yrs from new finaly decided to get a new  bike.my ivanised 2004 gen 1 is being part exed for a new aprilia v4 tuono aprc .friday will be a sad day .she never let me down in 28550 miles and still a tool now .well modded.thanks to mike the font of all knowledge and the rest of the lads on here .very helpful.will still be popping on here,be rude not to .

Excellent choice mate. I have a tuono v4r and it's an utterly outstanding bike to ride. If you get one the best mod is an aprilia gel seat, as the standard ones a bit thin! Disconnect the exhaust flapper valve cables to improve driveability, as it is only there to reduce noise till 5500 rpm for noise regs. 'IT'S NOT AN EXUP VALVE'! Apart from that there is a recall for certain vin numbers for a coolant manifold replacement and also a few cases of headlight condensation.Brilliant bike 8)
