I am looking at new bikes too, but I am keeping my 2004 Gen 1 owned from new.


Looking at ZZR1400, K1300S or Tiger Explorer, new 1200GS or Trophy, 1200RT.


I think I have discounted the last two as they seem so large, but will have a test ride. I am still not sure I want a Clitoris pretend off roader, but want a proper test ride to convince myself either way. My heart says 2012 Green ZZR 1400, but my licence says forget it.


Good luck with the new bike, I really like the Tuono but I need more wind protection at my age  :o

Have recently read about the new KTM 1190 Adventure - if it fits your wallet, might be worth checking out? (Write up in current ish of Bike Magazine) Sounds pretty good - can tour, commute, scratch and apparently just pretty much put a smile on your face?
