To be fair lycra is about as protective as an eggshell, it's only designed to give you a modicum of dignity aside from nudity and often not even then.  Lycra is not protection

Sometimes it's virtually the same thing  :eek  Although on the plus side, you do sometimes get a bird with a nice arse wearing it, and going through London they catch you up at every set of lights
