If it's just the battery pack that's died then you can probably replace the cells... cheaper than buying a new drill.
When my brother's died the cheapest source of suitable cells turned out to be a battery pack for a model car... just dismantled it and rearranged the cells to match the layout of the old drill pack. Best of all, because battery technology has improved since his drill was made, the capacity is now about 50% higher than his original one.
