Wanted standard 1000 rear shock

The sag must of been way off with that amount of preload, also increasing preload would of done nothing for the pogo effect...

What settings for compression and rebound were you running?

Perhaps, but it stopped me scraping pegs and stuff along the road.  The pogo effect comes once the damping is shot. 

Just threw the new shock in, and bingo.  Maybe one day I'll set up the sag.  Compression and rebound settings - yeah I think it does that stuff.

I've kissed a peg a couple of times with the new shock, but I'm usually going to quick when that happens.
