Lubing EXUP Cables
#4
"Get yersel a can of spray 3in1 an wd40"

I would be wary of that advise !

I was told that the cables (OE ones) have a teflon coating which wd40 and three in one type oils strip of causing the cables to stiffen and cease prematurlly .

might be total Bo77ocks but is it worth the risk ?

I use white spray grease in a plastic bag a couple of elastic bands and then move the cable back and forth for a while , although I havent done this for a long time , maybe a bit over due ?
