Boxeye/Foxeye years?

yeah, the only logic I could apply to going backwards (from a foxeye to a boxeye, I mean), is maybe they are trying to fix-up on the cheap and so buying used parts etc.

Its more the 51plate foxeye Ive seen which seems odd to me, I could understand seeing a late registered boxeye, but an early registered foxeye? seems sketchy to me, so thought I would check the years out
