I think this is pretty normal depending on the weather.
in the colder months i always start with full choke reducing instantly and slowly down to no choke over several seconds.
moderate days i use half choke
hot days it can start on the button with no choke and no throttle.
also just checking but do you always use throttle when starting up the bike & do you let the fuel pump do its thing first after switching on the ignition as if not then next time just try with using the button without any choke and after a few seconds of letting the fuel pump stop ticking.Probably stating the obvious there but felt i should say it anyway.
