I love the idea of Yamaha doing a high tech modern triple, if you have ever ridden a twin or triple, then you know just how much fun all that torque can be. If you take this version as the naked base model, then by justing adding some fairings, you get a friendly commuter, change the subframe and you can produce a full touring model. I suspect this might be the start of a whole new product line.

Don't get me wrong, it just isn't my cup of tea, looks wise. 'Course, it'd be a pretty boring world if we all thought the same. The only triple I've ever ridden was my old Denco tuned Kwak H2, mad as a box of frogs, a totally frightening experience! I've always wanted a 1050 engine Triumph, pref. a Speed Triple, but can't afford more than one bike alas. And I am totally intrigued to hear what the FZ9's engine is like - I hope it's a good 'un!
