I smashed my left shoulder to pieces in a bad accident about 20 years ago. The actual shoulder joint is now fused, and I do get a fair bit of pain in it, but I was back on bikes as soon as I possibly could. One of the reasons my last four bikes have been Gen 1 Thous, cos I can't reach the bars on sportsbikes, and the Fazer riding position is just about right for me.
Here's to a quick "recovery" and many more happy biking miles in the future
