I laid my fzs1000 down at tongue while trying to turn round.....lost footing on loose gravel 
had to ride back to inverness on that road with no brake lever!!!!!!! I had done john o groats---dunnet head---tongue and wanted to get to the furthest north west point before heading south, so that is still on my 'to do' list.....maybe this summer?
