Disappointed with FZS 600

Had my Fazer for a couple of weeks now and I must say I'm really disapointed with it. The vibrations through the right handlbar, and to a lesser extent, the right footpeg are bloody awful. The screen is useless. Why bother putting one on it when it does bugger all apart from direct the wind and flies right into your face? I bought a MRA Vario screen and what a bloody joke - £109 wasted. Its no better than the original and the stupid spoiler thing (gimmick) makes no difference whatever position its in. Anyway rant over. Ayone want to buy a 2002 Fazer 600?

Try riding without the screen, you will notice difference. The screen helps to keep the wind off your chest. Without visor I always got too cold when riding, or, if dressed properly, too hot when stopped/going slow. Plus, at higher speeds, when you tuck down, visor is ultrahepful. If, however, you want a touring bike, not a sports-touring one, go for a nice big enduro with screen as big as you can find. It does keep bugs away better.

Vibes can be due to bad carbs synchronization - it's an inline four engine, should be as buzz free as possible. I did try riding single cylinder for a while and enjoy the difference. Just make sure it is set up right (carbs, and all the bolts in place).
