Welcome in ferritt

Supposed to be quite a nimble machine that fz6, i dont know too much about them but i look forward to getting a    Shot of my old mans soon & comparing it against my mighty box eye fzs600. :faz

His is also a 2004 & its only done 14k, he just had to get the head bearing replaced which is a bit premature, his yamaha mechanic mate did it & he reckoned the  bearing hadnt seen grease from the factory & is relatively common, apart from that though he hasnt had any problems.

Im sure youll have plenty fun, both on here & out on the road 8)

To be honest my initial impressions is that its like having 2 bikes in 1, keep finding myself trying to change up only to find i'm already in top doing 30/40 mph, it doesn't complain though and will accelerate away without any problems. However it turns into a different animal once above 7k rpm.

Yep i do that too, totally different bikes mind with mine being carb'd but mine will sit at 30 in 60th gear no probs.i always try to get up to 6th as soon as possible out on the road which helps with the old fuel but when i need it then dancing around near the rev limiter is where the fazer likes to be :b
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
