When I got my Fazer it had sat for a year or more and the clutch plates had stuck together, tried old trick of put it in gear hold clutch in and rock it back and forth but this did not clear it. Put it on center stand and started it in gear, warmed it up properly, engine cases feeling warm, everything expands a little as it warms up. Holding the clutch in gave it a few blips to jerk the tranmission, warmed it a bit more, couple more blips / jerks, sorted and had no prob since.

Make sure clutch is adjusted properly and the leaver can be pulled to the handlebar, you dont want to be trying to drive the pressure plate out to far and rubbing it on the inside of the engine case, but that might not be possible anyway just a caution.
