Anyway to the point in hand. Continuous insurance enforcement has been in play since 2011, which means if it is taxed it must be insured or you are breaking the law. Afraid I can answer the actual question of if you can declare sorn and then un-declare sorn and carry on with the existing tax disc. Be interesting to know though.
