850k from a bike is colossal, even if the engine was replaced at 440k odd. I almost bought a VFR800, the gear driven cam version about a week ago. Came with Ohlins suspension and went for under £2000. They sound lovely but what put me off is that they're a bit heavy for what they are and not the easiest to work on, so I stuck with my Fazer
