what engine cleaning products do you use?

Fazer needs some major fettling which will include the exhaust coming off and getting a rub down and respray. While it is off I want to clean up the front of the engine which is dirty and dull and also has some furring. So what is the best product with the best degreasing and cleaning result you have used?
