Cleaning up 'dem oxidized forks!

Can't get one up atm as I'm not near the bike but I'll get one up during the week. Took most of a day to do and its a boring job but not difficult. What I did was sand it with 320 grit to get the old lacquer off, then 600 and then 800. Then went back to 600 grit and sanded in straight horizontal lines to get the brushed look like the original. Then lacquered over them. It's not perfect but it looks better than it did when it was pitted :lol
