Lots and lots of fine layers is key, as well as plenty of time on prep, also remember the panels are away from each other so a slight change in colour (sun fading from your older panels) wont be as noticeable than say on your car if you were respraying a wing.
Worst case and you make a mess, let it dry properly and sand your mistakes away!!
Oh and yes i agree with simonm, the silver doesnt work with the rest of the bike.
Does it need to be sanded first ? (I'm guessing sand blasting would destroy it :lol )
You'd do prime, base coat, top coat then lacquer ?
Where would you get the paint from ? (Aerosol ?)
I'm curious now..
