Oh yeah, now I know what you mean. You'll have to take the whole back end fairing off. Even though they look like separate pieces, the 2 side panels are bolted onto the middle panel from the underside.
So first undo the 3 bolts (if I remember correctly) on each side panel. Then you'll have to gently wriggle and flex the fairing unit off the back end. Flip it over and there'll 2 bolts per side panel holding it to the middle panel. Undo those and then you'll get to the part I was talking about in my first reply. In addition to the bolts the panels are kind of overlapping and hence a bit tricky to get separated. Just be careful and don't go full power at once.
