The lakes :thumbup ... i just went up there on the Varadero met up with others from a forum ... amazing roads, amazing views ...if your mate doesnt want lame roads then try the rhino pass 
the adrenaline when theres nothing either side of you somtimes and the sudden dips and climbs are fun too 8) :eek
I would recomend this as a must, we went from friday through till sunday , rode the lakes saturday .... other 2 days were rideing to and from Plymouth to do so
