The diameter of the base of the riser is 32mm. There is a soft rubber `seal` that fits around the riser, and that all sits in the hole in the yoke, although it's not an interference or contact fit.
The only part of the riser that touches is the very bottom of the riser, and it rests directly on the steel lined bushing in the yoke. Hope this helps.
