Mk1 FZS600 bits & pieces...

Hi,

The standard forks on the '98 & '99 bikes were non-adjustable - so whether you were a 8 stone petit girl or a 20 stone brick outhouse, the forks were what they were.

For 2000 on, Yamaha added the adjustable (for preload) caps, so that the 20 stone fella could wind them up and they would no longer feel as soft. Or indeed if you were 8 stone but just prefered a harder front end (there's a Finbarr Saunders in there somewhere!!), the choice was yours.
