If you're claiming on the cager's insurance then I'm not sure you should go for a repair as the insurance company may say it's fixed and they won't pursue the further claim for replacement parts.
If the bike's rideable (I'm presuming you need it daily) then patch it up yourself (that's what gaffer tape is for) and spend your time pushing the calim through, the more you hassle them (both insurance companies) then the more likley they are to sort your claim quickly.
I make myself a nusciance until this was sorted in my favour.
Aside from that I can recommend Woodford Motorcycles, always been fair with me.
