Checked mine today and it was fine, the three bolts came off nice and easy, there was the specified play in the cables, and when I moved the y shaped metal bit and turned the ignition on, it came back and lined up with the hole perfectly. Copper greased the bolts and popped them back in, job's a goodun.
Whilst I'm down there though, does anyone know the size bolts I'd need to replace them with stainless? Not an issue at the moment, but better prevention than cure I think!
