I usually don't have a problem sleeping, especially after a nightshift. In fact I used to have real trouble getting to sleep but since I moved onto nights it's been my best sleep in years! Haha.
Before my first night then I have a long lie in the morning instead of having a nap in the afternoon as a sleep in the afternoon makes me feel hellish. After my nightshift I get home between quarter past and half past 8, if I am working that night then I'll try and sleep from whenever I get home till 4 (usually only sleep till about half 2 or 3 though) and If I'm not working that night then I make myself get up at one or two at the very latest then do something like have a game of squash or go to the gym to really tire myself out so I can get a normal time sleep that night and kick my body clock back into a normal routine which is about midnight or 1 till 8 or 9.
I'm off now until next monday though! Woop!
