It's something i've been in 'two minds' about. When i bought my 600 it had one fitted but i like to keep my bikes as clean as possible and found it made it harder to clean in and around the swingarm as access was restricted. I therefore took it off and can clean the bike much easier now, which (to some degree) keeps the bike looking nicer anyway. Having said all that, a hugger is good for protecting the front part of the swingam and the standard undertray from stonechips.
In my experience most of the huggers i have seen for the Fazer 600 are not very stylish either. If i could get one with a more minimalist, bladed look to it i would probably fit one but the one that came on my bike looked pants so it found its way to the bin. A more minimalist one would also still provide protection for the vulnerable bits but allow access for cleaning too.

Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???
