Yes I know my millage will still be recorded in KPH but the set MPH of clocks I have to do the face swap with has got space ship millage and didnt want that - as I dont think you can reset the recorded millage - which I would if I could

Unless the original KPH was damaged, I would have left it alone to begin with. We use Kilometers now over here and my Bandit and Fazer are in UK miles and it never was a problem once I know the three road speed limits (urban, main road, motorway) off my heart in miles.
Just seems like an awful lot of trouble to begin with when there was already miles printed on the clock. On my clock, there is kilometers printed (abeit smaller) in notable yellow print that is still quite usable. Even though I know were you are coming from, if I was buying the bike off you down the road, I'd be a bit iffy about the clocks after been played around with even if nothing sinister was done to them....just my thoughts.
