My mechanic is very relaxed but when he MOT'd the bike for the first time with the Moto GP exhaust on he gave me an advisory for being too noisy!
He'd already printed the MOT when i pointed out the BSAU markings which he had missed, meaning it was totally legal.
It wasn't a problem, just a bit annoying. He passed it no problem after that.
If you ever need a baffle just do what i did and cut one down, it's not made too much difference with the noise or performance at all, but it shows you're making an effort.
