I was after a Gen1 when I was looking for a new bike, but got offered the Gen 2 and couldn't refuse the deal. Handles a bit sweeter than the Gen 1, but just misses out on bottom end torque a little.
One thing it doesn't do is look down on the old dino Gen 1. Worthy of the 'Fazer' name. Looks better too! :lol
