Right, i've just been reading a different forum about this issue, and one fella checked 3 bikes for play and they were between one inch, and one and a half inches.
So, on that evidence alone i would pretend that we never had this conversation, and everything is present and correct, because both our bikes have less than an inch of play which sounds good enough to me.
He was checking a Blackbird and 2 x FZR1000's i think?
