Know where your coming from. We usually meet at 6am, ride to Dover for the 2ish ferry, get into France then pretty much only do 40 or 50 miles and find somewhere to stay cos' everyone's knackered by then.
If you don't count the hour or 2 in a foreign land on the first day it's pretty much the same, leave Saturday, wake up Sunday in a foreign land on yer holidays
