I crossed the wires, working perfect. The pipe from the rad to the carb and then the other 1 from the carb back to the thermostat housing, just it's the coolant piping that runs tru the carbs that stops the butterfly valves from freezing shut in desperately cold weather. I don think which way they go that matters , it just changes te direction of the flow through the carbs.
Reason I'm asking is because when I got the bike I only got one hose to go fro the carbs to the thermo housing, and had to make up a 2nd hose to go from the rad, trouble is not sure which pipe on the carbs I was surprised to put the pipe from the thermo on cause it reaches both and Haynes manuel doesn't show which goes where?
