My controller is dead  :rolleyes  Got to do a bit of testing but I'm pretty sure it's the wiring going into the controller that's at fault.  If so I'll be contacting Gerbing about a replacement since they're only 2 months old.

Before you contact Gerbing you should get in touch with Buyapower because that's who your contract is with under the Sale of Goods Act.

You can point out that the goods are not of satisfactory quality and also as they have failed within 6 months of purchase it's down to them under the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002 to prove that the fault was not present at time of purchase (which they can't unless they can prove you've mis-used the controller) so you can choose repair, replacement or refund at your option
