For a commuter with a bit fun occasional weekends I think the DRZ will suit.
For more focused green laning etc I think a 250 fits the bill, as a WR/KX400 is overkill for most of us in tricky situations, but not good at all for much commuting and you really have to look after them.
The drz seems to be mostly bulletproof. They are much lighter than the faz but heavier than a proper enduro, so if you spend a lot of time picking it up off the dirt (like me
) take that into account :lol
The E models often aren't fully road legal so make sure you get one that is, ie with a speedo.
