whatever you feel comfy with....I have praise for the 4 sets of 023s I have had on the fazer , and also really rate dunlop roadsmarts. They are my style of steering though. I actually hated PR2 s !!..found them to quickly go off to a wooden feel from the steering within a 1000 miles.The FZ-1 is also a very diffrent steering to a FZS, so maybe this accounts for it ??
when I put roadsmarts on my speed triple2 it really improved the handling , as IMO the front was vague on stock metzeler3s.It felt so much more stable and planted on the RS.
we is all diffrent. I also think go with the best deal you can find. I have been buying tyres on the net through reputable suppliers and getting a local shop to fit them...then they started being competitive on price so I bought from them...now they are getting very expensive again !...its a constant battle to get value for money.
