Guys that is very helpful and thank you.
I bought the can from Rangally on here, it came with his bike. I think it has been cut down at some point because it seems very short, and therefore no baffle at all. Also there is no "Not for road use" stamp on it or a british kite mark, so have no idea about its legality.
I also don't mess around too much anyway let alone in town or near police.
Insurance company know and aren't to bothered about either.
Thanks again guys, but  more opinions welcome.

I had an 'unmarked' carbon can on my old R1 streetfighter, and hell fire it was very loud!! As I set off for work at 6 in the morning, it was a bit too loud and cruel to the neighbours. I bought a DB killer off fleabay, tuned it by reducing it's length so I was happy with the noise and fitted it. Raspy, but not too loud.
