As long as it doesn't say "Not for road use" on the can anywhere then it's ok with regards to the law. AS LONG AS YOU NOTIFY YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY!!!! :rolleyes
And if you leave the baffle out, just behave yourself near cops and in built up areas. But if VOSA get hold of you and your above the DB limit, they will put a prohibition notice on your bike until you get it re-MOT'd. (been there, done that) :o
There's a lot of contraversy about whether it will do any damage, not done any of mine any harm in the last 100k miles or so. It just removes the factory restrictions that got them through the tough emission legislations at the time.
