when I was looking to sell mine, I took it to a local (other brand) dealer the salesman, who knew about the mileage, asked his mechanic to guess mileage... 03 bike, sucks teeth, *thinks high*... "25k?" nope, 107,000. but they couldn't take it as the boss had a max 40k policy. bit pissed off I was.

however, the dealers' views on mileage has affected private sales cos I got buttons for it, and AFAIK it still going strong.

Bike is still on the road Sold it to my mate for the same price i paid. Only issue was chain snapped and put a hole in engine. Removed sump and cleaned out bottom end. Rebuilt sump with broken pieces and liquid metal. The crank big end journal had a light scuff on it, but rebuilt it and runs as good as ever. What a bike! :lol  Roughly 110'000 miles now.
