side stand awkwardness

i have same problem but am just V careful with alpinestar boots on. it is a bit fiddly but just a knack to learn. if u think rubber tubing looks shit and i certainly do then take it to a bike garage and get them to weld a longer one or re-weld the original at a different angle. it will cost u MUCH less than the price of a drop.
Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup.... :-))
