I think you need to read the original post again Snapper 


It reads to me as if he was trying to get past the que for leaving the Supermarket / Petrol Station and waited behind the car turning, pretty sensible thing to do as the driver would be concentrating on getting across the road and not looking for motorbikes, not que jumping for petrol.

That's how I read it.  Didn't think there was anything wrong with what you did, although you should've said to her "Don't you know you can't do that!" before you left 

Also a lot of car drivers seem to have to wait for a pump on the same side as their filler cap and leave empty pump spaces, I have been known in the past to nip in and fill up at an empty pump

I've had someone beeping at me to move when I'm filling up because he wanted to use the pump I was on.  One in front of me was out of order, two to the right (I was on the left) were completely empty  :rolleyes
