you have to look at it from a commercial point of view...a 10 yr old bike with over 40 k on the clock aint every ones cup of tea for a start , dont sit well alongside new bikes the dealer does want to sell...and such secondhand bikes will never make the mark up the sales space requires...to me its a reasonable business decision.
