Fitting is really simple, plugs straight in to existing loom.

Ah, good. I had looked at getting the gear counter, but there wasn't a plug-in version for my bike, so it would have involved cutting into the loom which was not something I fancied!

If you want to play with different maps while the PC III is fitted you will need to buy a usb adaptor lead (about a tenner off ebay) which then lets you plug your laptop into the PC III and load in different maps

Slight snag, I don't have a laptop, but I'm sure I can borrow one

Because I had a custom exhaust on mine there was no ready made map

My bike is as stock, so that shouldn't be a problem, although I'm thinking of removing the cat pipe as that is also supposed to give smoother/ better power delivery, so I presume the PCIII will also help with that?
