Suspension upgrade with Revs Racing
#3
Thanks to share! I spent a lot less but maybe I did something wrong. According to some internet info and people who I know it is right, according to others is too hard at the front. Or even too soft at the rear -this is unlikely. Which are your spring rates? I thought the stock spring rates would suit your weight. It would be very interesting to know them. I take some fork measures that are different according to the service manual. Other foccers have measured inconsistences also. I'd like to know more data.

I did the cheap way, reading internet info and doing the calculations and buying and installing an outlet FG Gubellini shock with preload extension and ride height for 290€, which fortunately was intended for my weight (90kg), and outlet generic "BM suspension" 1kg/mm fork springs (I think they make them for other brands, so they just put a sticker) 79€. My mechanic changed the fork oil to SAE 20 (he thinks is much better, and it seems that öhlins agree) when he repaired the seals some days before I bought the springs. Then I bought used 2002 Fazer adjustable fork caps for 40€ and my father made new spacers. I installed everything myself.

I love the ride, not the most confortable on bumpy roads but it allows a lot faster pace, even on these bumpy roads.

Please give the spring rates!
