Hi all, I was a member of the old FOCU site but I just re registered at this new one (good job btw).
Anyway a few weeks ago I went into the back of somebody at a junction at about 10 - 15 miles an hour. I only have third party, fire and theft for money saving purposes (never again). After I hit the car,the bike went down heavily to the right causing more damage.
I live in Bristol and I asked Bristol Kawasaki to give me a quote for parts which came to £1822, not including labour. However, they just gave me a long list of expensive parts needed (see below).

I asked them if they knew a breakers that might be interested who offered between £200 - £250. The bike milage is around only around 18,000 miles.
I'm not mechanically minded and have no idea about ordering 2nd hand/aftermarket parts and fitting them. I'm hoping I won't need to replace all these things, and the ones that do can be sourced second hand.
I really don't want to lose this bike but I have no mechanic/biker mates to ask for help. I have a car to see me through the winter so am not in any urgent need to get it repaired. Is there anyone out there willing to help me get this lovely bike back on the road at an affordable price?
Thanks for reading.
