Anyone have experience here? Do I have to take that? I paid £1,995 for it and it was in very good condition, about 23 thou miles...
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Wished I'd seen this earlier, as probably a bit late now, but if it helps others...wrote off my Gen 2 Fazer 1000 a month ago, due to tail pack slipping and locking back wheel, I only had the bike 3 months and covered 1000 miles as still riding R1 which I have now given to my son.
I paid £5,500 for the Fazer as I shopped around, but when looking to replace it, couldn't find anything else with same spec for less than £6,000 and believe me, I searched Nationwide!
Aviva offered me £5500, but I dug in and they settled on £6,000, as I wasn't impressed with Gen 2 Fazer 1000, after enjoying Gen 1 for two years I am now going for Fazer 8, ex demo 400 miles in Rochdale, and they will deliver to Kent included in price, also has Akropovic, so hoping will fill the gap, a friend whi has changed from R1 to Fazer 8 is sending back encouraging feedback, but I will know for myself soon, as it is arriving Tuesday.
