Regarding the repair, that gaffa tape wont be waterproof, so untill you get a replacement H/L unit may I suggest a thin & flexible piece of black plastic and then glue that over the hole.
And lastly aerate the HL unit inside with the bulbs out for 12-24 hrs to get rid of any moisture build-up |
