As for size of engine... the aforementioned 136bhp car was a 2.5 litre turbo diesel. The new Mondeo is supposed to have a 175bhp twin turbo 1.0 litre, so that isn't a very good deciding factor either. You'd also get round it with a bike engined Mini/Westfield
