I've just ordered the hand guards from ebay for £63.90 and I already have leds that I ordered for something else.  1 strip of white and 1 strip of rgb...

Question about the mod you needed to do to the clear plastic strip with a dremel. What did you need to do? 

Cheers for this post too, as I am looking forward to tinkering!  The rgb strip would mean I could change the colour... perhaps to a flashing blue?
